Role: HR & Talent Acquisition Manager
Location: Location: Delhi / Kolkata – Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for highly specialized roles in data science, machine learning, AI engineering, and related fields. Source, screen, and engage top talent from the AI and Data Science ecosystem.
- Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement creative and effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, particularly in a competitive, high-demand field like AI and Data Science.
- Onboarding & Integration: Oversee the seamless onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and rapid integration into the startup culture.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a collaborative, transparent, and inclusive company culture. Ensure employees feel valued, heard, and motivated to perform at their best.
- HR Operations & Administration: Handle all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Growth & Development: Work closely with leadership to identify growth opportunities for employees and create training programs that align with our company’s goals and vision.
- Culture & Values: As part of a startup, help define and evolve the company’s culture, ensuring alignment with our values of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR and Talent Acquisition, preferably in AI, Data Science, or tech startups. Prior experience in similar, fast-paced environments is crucial.
- Expertise in Recruiting Technical Talent: Strong background in recruiting for specialized technical roles (e.g., data scientists, machine learning engineers, AI researchers). You will need to have at least 2 years work experience in this industry.
- Startup Experience: Experience in an early-stage startup is highly preferred. You thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments and understand the unique challenges they bring.
- People-Oriented: Passion for helping people grow, both personally and professionally. You’re a strategic thinker but also love being hands-on.
- Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with leadership, hiring managers, and candidates. Skilled at negotiating offers and building relationships.
- Cultural Fit: Ability to thrive in a startup environment, where flexibility, agility, and a collaborative spirit are key.
